Maplegate Media Group was founded in early 2003, bringing the vision of several leading experts in radio control hobby publishing to life. The company’s mission is to create high quality publications that encourage readers to experience radio control hobbies as fun, creative and family friendly activities. Maplegate publications foster learning and involve readers in a vibrant and exciting community of radio control hobby enthusiasts. With the launch of Robot magazine in 2005, Maplegate Media has expanded its focus to include the exciting new world of hobby and consumer robotics.
The company currently publishes two monthly radio control hobby magazines: RC Driver for radio control car enthusiasts and Fly RC for airplane modelers. Robot, which launched in November of 2005, is published quarterly.
